Greetings, Sam Reeves posted a list of topics that brought a old question to mind. He asked about Med. format equip. and I remember some time ago the discussion about shutter type, lens leaf type or focal plane. As I remember the general conclusion was that the focal plane shuter was beter because of its ability to stop action and eliminate "Warm fuzzies" as it was called. So, does this imply that the Cameras of choice for railfaning in the Med. format only should be equiped with a focal plane shutter? Has anyone on the list used both types of shutters in M/F and is more incline to use the focal plane Camera for this reason? Dave Maffei PS> Jim Gilley was on the list when this came up and he had alot of input on this topic.(I miss the old Grump!) ======================================================= -> SPORRS: 'Serious Photographers Of Railroad Related Subjects' -> Web Site: http://www.anet-stl.com/acphotog/sporrs/ -> Message © 1998 SPORRS® - All Rights Reserved =======================================================
