Maybe things will improve at Railnews if they get another body. It would be
nice if one could get to know the Editor before he left for greener pastures

BTY, for new locations in old places, try moving a few hundred feet one way or
another or turning the camera to vertical. I once changed a normal shot at
the loop and a friend (who lives here) couldn't figure out where I took the
shot. Also, the west end of Canyon Siding , on Cajon, late in the day on the
longest days of summer can be a different shot (westbounds) and you can get
lucky and get a BNSF or UP (SP) east in the background.

Another shot that you never see is Bissell, on the BNSF Mojave Sub. Lots of
railfans drive right by Bissell (8 miles east of Mojave on Highway 58) and
never check it out. Should do! While your in the area, drive south of Mojave
, on Highway 14, and check out the hill coming out of Rosamond. Just a few of
my thoughts on lesser known photo locations.

Maybe someone should let Jim Gilley know. Here's his chance to fix what he
does'nt like about RailNews, and he's in luck...the ad does'nt say "Grumpy
people need not apply" :-)
