Rick wrote to me that "Houlihans Curve is screwed, unless you want
to get real creative." Per a trip he made this past weekend. If my
memory serves me right Steve S. from Peoria area is now a subscriber to
this list and he might have more to offer on the status of the curve. I
was through the area back in January and was stunned by what seems like
an ever growing fence. If you're out there Steve I'd like your take on
the fence from hell and what the chances might be of getting permission
to shoot from within Hoolihan's Cage. The shot near the road overpass
just east of Edelstein is still nice for west bound trains late in the
day, but it's one of those overshot locations.
