I promise not to get into the merits of Kodachrome versus that other film!

I recall a while back someone talked about the new Kodak Select Series
packaging of Kodachrome. My local film distributor had some of the new
packaged material when I was in this week.

A couple of surprises beyond the change in packaging. First, the film is
now manufactured in England. Second, rather than the usual bilingual
Canadian packaging, it's quadlingual (english, french, german & spanish).

Inside the box is the real surprise, a mailer! Only trouble is it only has
addresses for Kodak's european and australian labs, and a big notice that
Kodak processing is "Not available in the United States". Also in the box
is a larger notice regarding the use of the mailer in ten languages!
Between the two items, there's probably close to the equivalent of two
sheets of 8 1/2 X 11 paper. A waste of resources, I must say.

Is this the same packaging as they are using in the US? Or are they
importing film from England just for us folks in the "Great White North"?

Anybody shot enough of the "English" Kodachrome to offer an opinion on the
quality in contrast to the US manufactured product?
