>> Anybody shot enough of the "English" Kodachrome to offer an opinion on the >> quality in contrast to the US manufactured product? Am unable to comment on the quality of current US Kodachrome. As far as English Kodachrome goes, over here in England I love K200 - it is my standard film for dull or flat light where its sparkling contrast rescues many otherwise flat views. There is an occasional mild pink cast. However, virtually all my railway photographer friends have abandoned K64 in favour of Fuji Sensia 100 for general use. The Fuji is similarly priced but has much more reliable colour. Some of us also use Velvia for extra punch in the often-flat English light. Few railway photographers ever use K25 over here as there is too little bright sunshine. When I have used it, it has occasionally had a pink cast but the colour has been just like Fuji Sensia 100 and with similarly fine grain.
