Are you a student who is passionate about research? Applications are now open for scholarships within the Collaborative Research Networks (CRN) program, which provide support to research students with a passion for research in a number of key areas.
Interested students would need to undertake postgraduate research in the area of Exercise medicine for the prevention and management of chronic disease. Possible PhD topics include: Integration of exercise and nutritional strategies for chronic disease management Basic and applied research in exercise science for health and rehabilitation Translational research in exercise as medicine Available to successful CRN candidates will be: Financial assistance of $30,000 pa (tax free) comprising a $25,000 scholarship and $5,000 top up, for three years full-time with the possibility of an additional 6 months of support to complete a thesis. access to partner university facilities, access to visiting fellows, experience in working with collaborative teams, potential for co-supervision of PhD by researchers in partner universities. ECU seeks to enhance the quality of the research experience and culture through its Graduate Research School (GRS) by providing face-to-face and online training, seminars, academic events and social activities.
