Dear Alvaro, Apologies for late reply. The current IPPM charter reads as following on this aspect:
https://datatracker.ietf.org/wg/ippm/about/ Within the IETF process, IPPM metric definitions and measurement protocols will be subject to as rigorous a scrutiny for usefulness, clarity, and accuracy as other protocol standards. The IPPM WG will interact with other areas of IETF activity whose scope intersects with the requirement of these specific metrics Currently, the main interactions are between IPPM/BMWG and MPLS, 6MAN and SPRING on working group chair level when we encounter documents defining measurement protocols with MPLS and IPv6 data planes. Based on the scopes of the documents, we discuss with the document authors together wherever the document focuses more on the encapsulation vs. measurement aspect and decide which working group would fit best and how we ensure that the document is reviewed by both working groups. In the BPM charter, we decided to clearly write this out to remove ambiguity. Dispatch refers to coordination activities among mentioned working groups for new proposed work. Does that makes sense? Would you propose differend wording?
