Due to the structural engineer we were forced to move our stub in 1' closer to the wall and now the pump and panel infringe on the doorway coming into the room. As it currently stands you have to turn sideways in order to enter the room. Once you are in the room there is room. NFPA 20 states the following in the appendix: A.5.12.1.1 Most fire departments have procedures requiring operation of a fire pump unit during an incident.
