Gentlemen,
Has any of you recent experience (good or bad) with the hydraulic
calculation program Pipenet?
The most recent info that I found in the archives of the forum date
back to 1998.
According to their website (www.sunrise-sys.com) there are:
- a standard module for general process piping and equipment. (It
presents a choice of three hydraulic/pneumatic friction formulas, not
including Hazen-Williams.)
- a sprinkler/spray module, using Hazen-Williams or Darcy-Weisbach.
If any of you have used the program, how do you think about it?
A client of ours (chemical company) requested to put their firewater
systems in their Pipenet database. I have seen the program in action,
but I still wonder what surprises we might encounter.
