The other thing I had done is qualify just how close I'd get in my bid.
Under Assumptions and Clarifications I'd include a blurb stating our bid
included location of heads in or near center of tiles within 2"+/-.
Sometimes there were obstructions that prevented me from hitting it dead
on.

Subject: RE: Industry Standard

Don't you have any problems with sediment buildup in the drops when
coming directly off the bottom? We have seen too many installations
where this has occurred and we were called in to make repairs and told
by the Owner to use return bends (armovers) and come off the top of the
branch line fitting and never the bottom.
The first preference is off the top of the branch, the second is off the
side, and the last choice (resort) was off the bottom. It was always
made clear to us that the bottom was only to be used if there was no
way to use either of the first two preferences.

Just inquiring.
