That's why you gotta keep your tongue IN YOUR CHEEK or risk shorting out the
keyboard. And my keyboard is centered between a couple QR concealed
sprinklers.....just in case.

Hey- let's go back to getting the NAHB in check. Strangely enough, I think
we just joined an affiliate of NAHB (to save $23,000/yr on our health
insurance) so I'll check with my boss and see if it included website access
of NAHB's site. If so, I'll download and help them spread their message- to
their foes.

I usually use my fingers for typing, George's way seems like it would
make the keyboard all wet..........

I trust y'all understand I type tongue in cheek, and this was intended
to be an opening of discussion with the AHJ.

I'd hope he'd be glad you spotted the impact and are correcting the
unforeseen losses. Not everyone would.

George is practicing skating on some mighty thin ice. The problem would
be that it isn't an existing system until AFTER it is accepted.

This requirement has been in the standard a long time so whatever the
basis, it is lost as ancient history. A reasonable assumption (since it
is allowed for existing systems, thus must still work) is that the
1/2 NPT unnecessary restricts the flexibility of a system that already
has a higher flow demand than typically provided by K 5.6.
