Chris,

This situation COULD apply to a small penthouse on a sprinklered
building, no?

Subject: RE: Quick Response Reduction in a small building

Perhaps I didn't write that as clear as I could have. I am under the
school
of every hen house, dog house, etc. But what I meant is in the real
world
vs. a contractors dream - codes and building owners usually don't go for
these small building so what is driving sprinklers in this case? Is
there a
local rule, really weird occupancy, some earthquake issue based on a
Seattle
question, urban-wild interface issue, insurance issue or a rare
enlighten
building owner that doesn't watch TV or go to movies(which are few and
far
between once you get beyond sprinkler fitters and associated staff),
just
curious.
