Jose,

Sprinklers: no, there is not.
Hi-expansion foam: maybe, if the AHJ accepts it.
Inert gas or CO2: maybe, but then you will have at least nozzles along the walls at different levels in addition to the ceiling nozzles.

I never met a customer who wants in-rack sprinklers.
But when we show the cost estimate of other possible solutions with storage over 12,2 m high, they usually choose in-rack sprinklers voluntarily.

Maybe the AHJ will accept ceiling sprinklers only if the customer stores non-combustible materials (like rocks on metal pallets).
What commodity does your client store?

Other common option:
Decrease the storage to 12,2 m and install a suspended ceiling at 13,7 m.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Sirs:

I always read all your smart comments. I have a situation with a 17
mts celing high warehouse with 15 mts high multiple raw rack storage
(commodity II). The customer does not want to use sprinkler in rack. I
thougth about using ESFR sprinkler but high limit is 13.7mts. My
question is, is there a "only celing protection" solution for this
issue?
