There are just some cases where in-rack sprinklers can not be avoided.

NEVER use CO2 in an occupied or potentially occupied space. And gaseous is
great for small rooms but for large warehouse rooms it is very impractical and
in most cases just wouldn't work.

Ceiling sprinklers with in-racks are your best and simplest option.

Subject: High Storage / High Celing

Dear Sirs:

I always read all your smart comments. I have a situation with a 17 mts celing
high warehouse with 15 mts high multiple raw rack storage (commodity II). The
customer does not want to use sprinkler in rack. I thougth about using ESFR
sprinkler but high limit is 13.7mts. My quuestion is, is there a "only celing
protection" solution for this issue?

Regards,

Jose Prada
