problem. What is the soil temperature at 3 feet? At 4 feet? At 5 feet?
Up in northern climes we bury deeper and deeper to get below the frost
line to where the temperature stays around 50 degrees all year. That
's pretty shallow in the Puget Sound Area but what depth does UG go to
in Montana or Manitoba. You may be able to go down, both in depth and
degrees, to a stable temperature where your pipe is in a cooler soil
temperature.
