400 ft. unsprinklered? An FDC on a unsprinklered building? I guess it could have standpipe system.
IBC 508.5.1 relates to fire hydrant spacing/location. I suppose you could assume that a sprinklered building would have an FDC and therefore 600 ft. would do but most AHJ's would want it a hydrant lot closer.
