This is an old Kmart store. The rear exit, going through the stockroom, is normally open area but there are 2 fire rated doors, on tracks with fusible links on a tension cable. The building is fully sprinklered. The apparent intent is to provide egress, which shows why compartmentalization isn't so great because the occupants had blocked the doors with product, and they didn't know they were fire rated doors or their purpose anyway.
