Here is a basic guideline of EPA regulations regarding water from air
compressor tanks:

When you say oops, I thought perhaps that maybe you thought I was joking
about the EPA regulations.

It's a serious issue, my uncle is a air compressor distributor in California
and he told me the CA EPA will fine $10,000 if they observe water from a
tank on the floor.

Subject: RE: DRY SYSTEMS FOR DUMMIES

(They actually don't have one currently, the old man retired last summer)
It's a very old place, triple brick walls, terra cotta and concrete floors,
great place to film a horror movie. We looked at various dryers but the
budget wouldn't allow unfortunately. I'm actually going to offer one of
these auto drains to my client with the 19 dpv's in his underground garages.
Their plumber spends an entire morning twice a month (I know, but that's
what they want) bleeding their tanks.
Tom

There's a right shift for sure. Tom, since you have a boiler person
why not put a desiccator on the air line? This person should already
be familiar with the device and willing to change the desiccant when
needed.
