Another question for anyone like me working this weekend. I have a riser from the residential second floor passing through the OH2 retail first floor. It has a slight offset before passing down into the basement. I'm using CPVC for the residential second floor and would normally transition to steel but I'm wondering if I could use CPVC for the riser through the first floor and then transition to steel before passing into the basement. I don't think I can but it's above a 3 hr. clg. for a 10" offset and then in a chase with the plumbers plastic water and sewer pipe. I need a life. TD
Tyco TY-FRBs are listed for OH and I'm sure the others have comparable products. Given it is retail, my guess is that there could be products outside under the porch during good weather (like today). I would continue OH on the porch as well.
