One of our accounts is in the process of writing specs for a new building. They have asked for my advice. I would to have a wet system used in the building. The future maintenance of dry systems, dry heads, and antifreeze loops is something I would like to avoid.
We have a couple of accounts that insulated the slope of the roof, and a couple that tented the wet system with plastic and used blown-in insulation. To date, we have not had to replace rusted pipe, or dealt with antifreeze loops or dry heads in those places. My preference would be to insulate the roof. What is the experience of members of the board? _______________________________________________ Sprinklerforum mailing list [email protected] http://fireball.firesprinkler.org/mailman/listinfo/sprinklerforum For Technical Assistance, send an email to: [email protected] To Unsubscribe, send an email to:[email protected] (Put the word unsubscribe in the subject field)
