OK, then what about the rule about not mixing standard and QR sprinklers in the 
same space? Are above and below sprinklers with an 11" gap considered to be the 
same space or separate spaces?  If the cloud was 10 ft x 10 ft in the middle of 
a 30 x 30 room, would you say the same? However, there is also something out 
there about calculating only one level or the other, but not necessarily both 
(I believe in 13-2010, but I am far from adept with this addition and have yet 
to find it). If that is the case does this overrule the mixing ban since only 
one level or the other is expected to react to the fire?
