I have been doing 13R and 13D systems in and around Houston for a couple of
years. Now most of the housing developments we used the same flow test
through the entire construction, approved by the AHJ. But I do seem to have
seen a drop in pressures located off of residential mains. From static
around high 40's or 50, to static being around mid 30's on the most recent
jobs. Of course I don't live anywhere near TX so I can only rely upon the
flow tests.

It may be. I have a facility in Dallas that I was trying to get approved for
aerosol storage. Not going to make it.

Subject: Texas flow tests
For anybody who does work in Texas: Have you noticed a drop in flow test
results this year? I was wondering if the drought has had an impact. I've
been doing some work in the Houston area and flow tests seem to be coming in
worse than normal. I was wondering if this was part of the problem.
