Steve, I'm going by what was issued by the CT State Fire Marshal. (could
not attach it. Google "Storz fire UL" . It should be the first listing).
I did not look in 14, but 13 does require the FDC to be "of an approved
type" (6.8.5 in 2002 and 6.8.3 in 2010). Unless things have changed
since this was written, there are no approved Storz connections for FDC
use. I am not aware of any. Some municipalities have ignored this in
some situations, but this is what the ruling at the state level is.
