J.P. Merlino, If the 30" max shelf depth and the 15 ft max height is meant to establish max potential fuel load, with max 64 ft2 shelves, this is 64 x 15 = 960 ft3 per section. In your case the max potential fuel load is 3 x 7.5 x 20 = 450 ft3 per section. A reasonable idea to me is a head at every-other level, at the back of the shelf, centered long-ways, and protected by a course wire mesh cage. This results in a total of about (40) sprinklers. I am not a P.E., A.H.J., or technical committee member, just a sprinkler person with lots of ideas, and you asked.
