You want reality I am reality....and the reality of this is that steves platform/stage/duck can and will be used down the line as a working stage with stuff (like your word BIG fire load) hanging, attached sitting etc etc. Like arc fault electrical devices codes take liberties in assuming that bad things might occur givin the opportunity. We live in a world of probabilities and down the line the curtain on steves duck means its probably going to be used a stage. If that wasn't the case they would be willing to do away with the curtain and end this jaunt. But theyre not because they know exactly what the ducks going to be used for.
