You don't have a density specifically. The flow from each rack sprinkler
will be dictated by the orifice size of the head and the 15 psi minimum
pressure.

Since it’s the first time I’m doing this I would like to double check with
the forum if I have it right………
I have a storage area to protect that’s over 16’ deep and 22’ high, 2
shelves and a 5’ aisle. The commodity is a non-encapsulated/class IV, we
utilized table 16.2.1.3.3.2 figure 16.2.1.3.2 (d) Curve C which is a .39
over 2000² and section 16.2.1.3.4.6 to reduce density with 40% for in-rack
sprinklers which totals to .234 over 2000² is there a special requirement
other than the 18” for clearance from ceiling sprinkler to storage?
for in-rack sprinklers [16.2.4.3] I know that I need to calculate 14
sprinklers (seven on top two levels (which in my case we only have 2 levels
of shelving) and I know that I need 15 psi according to section 16.2.4.4
what I don’t get is what’s the GPM or density requirements?
