UFC 3-600-01 overrides all others. See Para 1-3 for a hierarchy of applicable
codes and standards. It refers to NFPA(latest editions) except as modified. It
also refers to ETL 02-15 -Engineering Technical Letter regarding Fire
Protection Engineering Criteria - New Aircraft Facilities. IFC applicability
is discussed as pertaining to the IBC which is specifically referenced in UFC
3-600-01. You should have additional guidance provided to you by an EOR. Is
there none? I would not pursue such a project without it.

Subject: Blast Booth

Air Force Baser hanger Blast Booth. Would the requirements for fire protection
fall under NFPA, UFC, or IFC code? Or all three? Which one addresses the design
requirements?
