What is your MSDS tell you, all of the chemicals in your list are either toxic and/or non-flammable, why the Class 1 Div 2?

The building is a Nitric Acid Plant, and the MSDS they gave me was for Nitrogen, Nitric Oxyde, Nitrogen Dioxyde and Oxygen. They have to sort out whether this building is classified class 1 div.2 as per the electrical code. If it is, the riser still has to be within the building, but the devices will have to comply with the electrical code.
