I have a customer that has a dry system that was installed sometime in the 50's or early 60's. We are inspecting this system and notice that the trip times are well over a minute, almost a minute and a half. Now a days that would be no good; but how was that handled back then? It is a pipe schedule system, so was the volume rule in affect at that time?
