Brian...the 1st 18" of spray pattern is golden...drop the pallet or move it to one side at least 24" away from the deflector measured on the hypotenuse from the closes edge of the pallet to the deflector....in the meantime...I will try to figure out what architectural motif would a pallet hanging from the ceiling fit into....
