Duane, 7.9.1 is simply saying ignore the section when dealing with refrigerated spaces above freezing temps. Is doe NOT say ignore other sections such as 8.16.2.3.3. I.e. follow the standard, but skip over 7.9. So pitch the main at 1/2" in 10' (or greater). Mark A.
