Ok guys I'm not familiar enough with power source requirements so looking for
guidance.

I have a client trying to some how get out of buying the Fire Pump with a
transfer switch.

This is located in Cambodia so it's not looking good. It's in the capital but
because I live here so I know they haven't got a year without a power outage
lasting more than 4 hours. Plus they have a on-site generator.

So we have 2 sources of power and they have their own transfer switch. They
want to pull a dedicated line from their transfer switch.

I think this violates section 9.2.3, I'm not sure but I think there are more
than 1 disconnect upstream. Unless it could be a feeder connection by 9.2.2(4).

And per 9.3.1 we don't even have a FDC because the fire department won't do
anything even if it is burning.

So I see a connection from the main electrical coming in and another main line
from the generator itself. Not from their transfer switch.

Am I right in my thinking?
