Yes, PEX is clear. Grinnell/TYCO used to have a red pipe as well.

Is Uponner PEX clear? In Europe we also use Firestop which is red with a
green line, I'm not sure if this is UL listed.

I always assumed all listed plastic sprinkler piping was orange in color.
