I am looking at a calc and I wanted to make sure I am thinking about this correctly:
If there is a soffit that is over 8" that has sidewalls in it at the ceiling level - it also needs pendants under it. Then when the area/density calc is performed you have to flow the pendant and sidewall heads for that area - right? I can't think of any reason why you would not calc both sets of heads, but I have been getting some push back (primarily due to the increase in water volume). Just wanted to make sure I am on the right track. Thanks!
