All of this assuming that the ceiling is FLAT. Remember that the
listings for sidewall sprinklers installed up or across sloped ceilings
have all been pulled.

This may or may not be relevant, but I haven't posted in a while and
feel left out.

Subject: residential sidewall sprinklers

In the section on standard spray sidewall sprinklers, NFPA 13 prohibits
sidewall sprinklers being on adjacent or opposing walls if they are in
the spray pattern of another sidewall. Does this prohibition exist for
residential sidewall sprinklers? I can not seem to locate it if it does.
I am reviewing a set of plans and this comment was brought up. I wanted
to have a section of the standard to verify if the requirement does
exist. Can anyone help with the section reference, or help confirm that
it is not in the section on residential sidewall sprinklers?

Thanks!
