Phil helped me numerous times throughout my career with various NICET issues. His dedication to the industry was unwaivering and his commitment to ASCET commendable. He was a man on a mission, a mission to elevate the industry through a recognized certification process. He performed the mission well. The ASCET chapters should keep a seat at the table for him this month. He earned it.

He was heavily involved with NICET and ASCET, and he personally set up a lot of the ASCET chapters here on the east coast. He was always at local and regional meetings and was also heavily involved with the Philadelphia-Delaware Valley Chapter of SFPE. I'm glad I got to know him well with my involvement with ASCET and SFPE, and he will be sorely missed by a lot of people in the industry.
