Depending on the duct size FlexHead has a great product for inserting sprinklers in ductwork. Use standard pendant style sprinklers. Also be sure to ask what is the normal operating temperature of the airstream in the duct and if there is an upset condition temperature increase variance. Get the right temp sprinkler. If there is a fire in the booth you can bet on it migrating into the ductwork so assume it's all one flow event. Craig L. Whit the requirement of extra hazard group two is there a way that Horizontal sidewall sprinkler can be used in exhaust stacks.
