I am working on a project in a mill that was constructed in 1884. On the top floor, the branch piping is 3/4 - 1 - 1. Was there an older version of pipe schedule that allowed smaller pipe or is this just undersized? Hopefully some of you history buffs (or at least those with a bunch of old stuff) would know.
