WI, I haven’t done a residential project in some time.  The building is
concrete floors with non-combustible framing so maybe that makes the
difference.

What state is that?   In CA, you have to have one-hour between dwelling
units.

I would watch out on this.  I am designing a high rise right now that the
builder states the only fire rated walls per floor are the common corridor
walls.  I asked if the walls between the units will be rated and he said no.

I’d look at whether it qualifies for the room design method (since
dwellings units are separated by fire rated construction but the protection
of openings poses a question).
