I am trying to determine the proper deflector distance from a partition with the top located 18" below the sprinkler deflector. This is an Ord Haz Grp II Self Storage facility with standard spray QR Tyco TY-FRB TY3131 uprights. Sec 8.6.5.2 doesn't give a table like 8.6.5.2.2 which is for Light Hazard only.
If I have to space the heads as if the low partitions went all the way to the deck, I will violate the 6' minimum rule. What am I missing here? Thanks,
