Jeffery, When I entered this business 22 years ago I started by working with two experienced designers. Within two weeks one quit and then two weeks later the other one left. Unbeknownst to me, there were issues at this particular company (to say the least).This left me in a precarious spot. I had no one to lean on so I picked up the two most valuable resources I could find. I opened up existing drawings and NFPA 13. From these two sources I was able to stumble my way through it.
