Might want to start in Chapter 6, System Components and then Chapter 7, System
Requirements of NFPA 13. Helps to have a handbook for many reasons, but the
pictures might be helpful at this point.

6.7 Valves
6.8 FDCs
6.9 Flow Switch
7.1 Gauges – relief valves

There has got to be someone around that would be willing to get you started by
walking you through the basics?? 10 minutes and a sketch would go a long ways.

Subject: Riser Details

Hello Everyone,

I am very new to designing a new construction system and was handed three pads
to design. I am at the spot where I must build my riser, but have zero clue on
how to start, or what is needed.
