I think Steve and I have discussed this before, but I read it to say that you 
must provide Class III hose connections on each side of the stage, but if you 
have a fully sprinklered building you can just provide a single 1 1/2" 
connection supplied from the sprinkler system.  But, it does say in accordance 
with NFPA 13 or 14 and provide sufficient length of hose.  So, I take that to 
mean if you can't cover the stage with the length of hose provided from a 
single connection, then you would need on both sides.  Is that correct Mr. 
Leyton?

 I haven’t run into a situation where we have been allowed to tap off a 
sprinkler system. All of then ones I have seen require a new feed from the 
riser and a full standpipe calc.
