The flow rate would be whatever the system demand is down stream of the valve.

Subject: OS&Y "flow rates"

So we swapped out a broken OS&Y valve at the hospital and the OSHPD inspector 
is insisting he wants the "flow rates"  ( I assume he means friction loss) from 
the existing and new OS&Y valve. OS&Y valve cutsheets  don't have a friction 
loss chart because the loss is so minimal. Does anyone have any ideas on how to 
explain this to an OSHPD inspector, he have already told him this but he is 
just stuck on wanting to know the "flow rates"
