The NFPA 13 omission of sprinklers in bathrooms was changed from 2010 to 2013, and then changed back from 2013 to 2016. The wording of 8.15.8.1.1 is exactly the same in 2010 and 2016. But in 2013 it specified only dwelling units in hotels and motels. Could anyone help me understand why that was done? Seems like an odd change to make to then revert right back.
