Hi all,

Sorry for the newb question if this is obvious.

I really like the Spyder editor and associated functionality, and use the
ipython interpreter for much of my work. However, when I edit the IPython
interpreter command line options under Tools -> Preferences -> Console ->
External modules, they don't seem to be recognized when I open a new
IPython interpreter. Can someone help me fix this?

I'm on a machine with a 64-bit installation of Ubuntu 12.04, version 0.12.1
of IPython, and version 2.1.9-1 of Spyder, both from Ubuntu repositories.
The options I'm trying to pass are "qtconsole --pylab=qt", minus quotes.

Thanks in advance,
Andy
