Thanks, got it. Took me a little to figure out how to get the
widgets to
drop on top of each other and how to force the stacked
horizontal layout.
any chance you could share the things you figured out? I'm still
working on it but haven't reached the end goal.... tia
It is harder to describe then do:) First follow the instructions above
to get the vertical tabs. Then as mentioned above 'grab' a window by its
titlebar. If you have gone with the vertical layout the title bar will
be on the side of the window. Once you have grabbed the window you can
detach it from its current position and move it around the screen. What
you are looking for is portions of Spyder layout to turn a light blue(in
my case) color. So for instance if you want to stack items drag an item
over another item until the underlying item turns blue and then drop the
upper item. If you want to place an item below another one so both are
showing drag it to the bottom of the existing item until a blue section
opens up and then drop it. Hope this helps.
