Hello,
I just checked an Ubuntu 12.04 there is only Python 3.2.3 available.
This could be a reason to support it until the next Ubuntu LTS version
is released, which is planned for 04-2014.
From what I have been seeing 3.2 is going to be hanging around for a
couple of years at least. The option is to require 3.3+ and then provide
support for people who do not have it installed, or support 3.0+ and put
up with the attendant clutter. Since the code already exists to support
3.0+ I would say go that route. Basically it comes down to putting the
work on either the users or the developers.
