Hi,
I'm using Spyder 2.3.0 on Windows 7. I'm guessing the menu structure is
fairly similar.

The Syntax coloring sub-menu only handles the potential color schemes. If
you go into Preferences > Editor, then Display tab, the Syntax color scheme
drop down list is at the bottom. This is where those color schemes are
enacted for the editor.

I don't why it's setup this way, and I have only been using Spyder for
about a week.

As far as the other windows(consoles, etc.), I haven't found any menu
options to change color schemes, but I think messing with config files may
do the trick. Who knows?
