Hi,

That option was added in Spyder 2.3.1 so it's available in any version higher than that one. But to use it you also need to have IPython installed, at least its version 1.0. Else you won't see it in the Consoles menu.

I am on linux mint 17.1
I have tried spyder for python 2 and 3, version 2.2.5 and 2.2.4
Installed using synaptic and manually from source
https://bitbucket.org/spyder-ide/spyderlib/downloads/spyder-2.3.2.zip

What am I missing?
